I love the simplicity of an image, a moment captured, which can be remembered over and over again. Photography, whether I call it my career or hobby, it has become a true love of my life.
Since the age of twelve my big sister Suzanne had become my best client. White sheets pinned on the bedroom walls, a few dabs of red lipstick and a 24-roll disposable camera was all we needed for our Vogue inspired photo-shoots. I can clearly recall the excitement as if it were yesterday, running up to the photo center at Wal-Mart or Costco, I would shuffle through the D's to find my pack of prints. I would be devastated on the days they hadn't been processed. I can proudly say I have come a long way since those days and am so thankful to the wonderful mentors I have had along the way.
My love for creativity continues to grow each day. I thrive in creative environments, they have produced some of my most cherished moments. My goal is to channel that creativity through my images. I simply want to make people feel. I want people to feel warmth, peace, love, happiness, maybe even confusion and sadness. I strive for my images to be real, unaltered, for that is when moments are truly felt, not just seen.
