Naked Princess / Behind The Scenes / Los Angeles Fashion Shoot

Before 2012 ended I was lucky enough to work with Naked Princess again! This time we were “on location” in the Hollywood Hills, the weather was perfect that day, the breeze was refreshing and the view was spectacular. I thoroughly enjoy working with this company, they are such a kind and talented group. I hope to have the honor of working with them again and again.

Naked Princess / Behind The Scenes / Beverly Hills Montage Trunk Show

Back in July of 2012 I was so thrilled to be working as a “Behind the Scenes” photographer for Naked Princess of Beverly Hills. Their lingerie is beautiful and their cosmetics…to die for! This line is truly exquisite and specifically made to make you feel like a princess. Working for and with the employees, creators, models and designers of NP was a true pleasure! Please check out their display at the Montage Beverly Hills Spa.

Models: Holly Parker + Agne Skaringa

Even Janice Dickinson stopped by to try the product and of course joked around! She’s such a doll.

Erika Brechtel / Small Shop Studio / The Glitter Guide

Happy Monday everyone! We have finally “sprang” forward and the days are, to my enjoyment, longer! I am playing “catch up” with today’s post about Erika Brechtel of Small Shop Studio. Erika and I meet a fews years back in Palm Springs, she was the maid of honor and stationery designer in the amazing Fliss Wedding. A little over a month ago, she invited me to photograph her and her wonderful home for The Glitter Guide. I had such a wonderful time working with Erika and spending my day in a creative space with a very talented women.

Refuge Salon / Los Angeles County Photographer

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending the day at Salon Refuge/Form Academy in Echo Park. When I first arrived to the Salon I absolutely fell in love with the space, a photographers dream! Interesting walls, bare walls, raw cement floors, old brick, this salon has it all. Not only is Salon Refuge home to many amazing stylists and colorists, they also run an Academy for those wanting to join the industry. If I ever wanted to become a licensed hairdresser, this is the Academy I would attend, hands down! First of all, you get to study in a rad environment, come on now! Secondly, the teachers are the expert stylists with over 20 years experience, who are not just teachers…they still work, they still practice! Lastly, the students also get to interact with some of the newer stylists in the salon, gaining a fresh outlook on how it’s going to be once they graduate.

So…if you’re looking for a fresh outlook, a fresh haircut, a lovely facial or even just a location of inspiration and creativity then head on down to Refuge Salon, it’s a wonderful space full of wonderful artists.

Chloe Kincer / Los Angeles Portrait Photographer

Chloe Kiner…here she is, a one-of-a-kind girl! What a fabulous day this was shooting in downtown L.A.
Chloe, her adorable mother Christy, Mirna Gonzalez (the most fabulous make-up artist ever) and myself had quite a fun experience!
I have such a passion for shooting in L.A. I get so excited every time I drive into the city, I always know to expect something different.
Our shoot started out with gusty winds and a lot of  laughs, soon after we ran into skater kids on the corner, they were more than happy to be in Chloe’s photos.
I can’t express how much I enjoyed shooting Chloe, she is such a doll.
Here are my favorites!

SAMUEL + ELISE I nyc fashion

Back in March I had the experience of a lifetime. My close friend and I got to visit NY for a week! This was my very first trip to the the city and I absolutely fell in love. While in town I was able to connect with some family from Brooklyn, spend time with one of the dearest people to my heart, and I got to photograph two amazing models in Central Park… what more could a girl ask for?

Samuel and Elise were fabulous! It was about 55 degrees that day and it was windy too. Samuel luckily was wearing boots and pants, poor Elise had to freeze, I don’t think she complained but once :)

This lil’ production was so much fun to put together, and the people I was able to work with were absolutely fabulous. I have to highlight our hairstylist, she was a gem! Julie Farragher, of Pandora’s Hair Witchery, in Australia happened to be visiting her daughter in NYC at the time. She did a fabulous job, not only with the hair, but she helped us immensely with a few last minute details! I also had the pleasure of working with a wonderful designer, Ms. Danica Dejong! When I met with her about designing a gown I had something pictured in my head and she drew it for me, then fixed it and made it better! She did a fabulous job and I couldn’t have been happier! Our male model Samuel was such a doll! He not only made our photoshoot fun and easy but he showed us around the city a bit, it was so wonderful meeting him, you can view more of his work by clicking here. Our female model Elise has such a classic look, she completed the package and was very pleasant to work with. I can’t wait to work with them again!
