Bryan + Elizabeth

After I photographed these two the first time I decided we needed to plan for another shoot, just to capture their fun and silliness…and we did just that! Strolling around Echo Park with this lovely couple was as easy as cake. It’s so much fun working with people who are so In Love!!! Congrats again Bryan and Ellie, the big day is right around the corner.

Grant + Krista / Engaged / Downtown Claremont Engagement

These two adorable, “down-to-earth” cuties have such a sweet story and such a sweet way with one another. I had the pleasure of once being a neighbor to Grant and Krista. We would pass by one another and chat while walking our dogs around the neighborhood. I even once got to sit down and have a comical conversation with Krista’s mother over our distaste for electric can openers, what a sweetheart she is, but that’s another story!  When I got the call that Krista and Grant were engaged I was thrilled that they thought of having me as their photographer. We finally got to sit down and get to know one another more than just our common neighborly chats. If there is anything I can remember about that meeting is that we laughed, and oh how I love to laugh, I could not wait to shoot their engagement. We started our session at the very same bar they were introduced for the first time, The Back Abbey, in Downtown Claremont.  Within one minute of our session the laughs began…laughs, laughs, and more laughs! I was so thrilled to see them relaxed and cracking up together, I am already foretelling that the wedding will be a blast, once again I can’t wait for their wedding!

Marcus + Stephanie / Engaged / Los Angeles County Engagement Photographer

Today’s post has been a long time coming! I had the pleasure of meeting Marcus and Stephanie almost two years ago. We’ve been through meetings, emails, phone meetings, and now an engagement session. It’s official, I can now say that we are only a couple months away from their wedding. I know Marcus and Stephanie are just as excited as I am that “The Big Day” is right around the corner. There is something so exciting for me about shooting a wedding that has been building up for such a long time. I know a part of it has to do with the comfortability Marc and Stephanie bring to the table, they have always genuinely made me feel like a friend, what a blessing it is to have such wonderful people as clients. Their engagement session in Downtown Los Angeles was truly a blast for me. It was a gorgeous day in my favorite city, doing what I love, what more could a girl ask for!

Matt + Nicholle / Engagement / Orange County Engagement Photographer

A few Sundays ago I headed out to Casper’s Park, located somewhere on Lake Elsinore’s ferocious Ortega Highway, and yea…that’s right…I’m afraid of heights! Once we arrived I was taken back by the parks breathtaking scenery (totally forgetting what I endured on the way up), Nicholle and Matt had been to the park before and suggested we do the photos there. I was so thrilled that we chose this location, it was a beautiful day and the fact that this place has sentimental value to them just made it feel right. Congratulations Matt and Nicholle!

BRETT + DANIELLE I engaged

I had such a great time photographing Brett and Danielle down in the city of Cypress. This great and actually very large park was our backdrop, there were ducks and fish, right off the 605 freeway! I can’t wait to photograph these two lovebirds in July, it’s going to be a blast! Brett and Danielle are infatuated with one another and it’s so adorable to watch! Here are my favorites of the day.

ANDREI + LIDIA : engaged

What a morning it was at the beach photographing Andrei and Lidia. With this couples busy schedule it was “now or never” for their engagement session.. sooooo, we went for it… we had to shoot in the rain! They were both so easy  and fun to work with. Neither of them complained once, Lidia even offered the arm of her jacket for my camera and lens to stay dry, it was quite a scene. Below are my favorites, I just love how sweet they are with one another.

RUSSELL + JULIANNA I engaged

Russell, Julianna, and I ventured out to downtown Riversides historic Mission Inn . That place is absolutley enchanting, although it requires a lot of legwork. We walked up down and around that place, I can imagine people getting lost in there. I had such a blast with these two, they were cuddly the entire time, it was adorable. I can’t wait for their wedding in January. Here are my favorites.

GLENN + JOYCIE I engagement session

Glenn & Joycie are the sweetest people i’ve ever met. It was a pleasure photographing my ex-coworker ;) When Joycie and I worked together we always talked about what we would do for her and Glenn’s engagement session. These two have such “uniqueness” (I hope that’s a word), it’s so refreshing. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in October, it’s gonna be fantastic! We headed down to Claremont for these shots, it was  such a blast with all the old brick and bright green walls! These are my favorites.

DREW + LISA I engagement session

Drew and Lisa were introduced to me by a dear friend and someone you’ve heard of before, Danica Dejong, the designer who fashioned the model Elise at our NYC shoot. “Thanks again Danica for the introduction, Drew and Lisa are fantastic to work with!’

A few weeks ago I got to photograph Drew and Lisa in downtown Fullerton. I had so much to work with, a beautiful classic car, a gorgeous sunset, and well of course, such a beautiful couple! There is no doubt that Lisa knows how to laugh, and there is even more proof that Drew is the one who knows how to make her laugh! Drew and Lisa are high-school-sweethearts with an obvious passion for one another. I can’t wait for their wedding in La Quinta, I can tell it’s going to be a blast! Here are my favorites from their session.
