BRETT + DANIELLE I engaged

I had such a great time photographing Brett and Danielle down in the city of Cypress. This great and actually very large park was our backdrop, there were ducks and fish, right off the 605 freeway! I can’t wait to photograph these two lovebirds in July, it’s going to be a blast! Brett and Danielle are infatuated with one another and it’s so adorable to watch! Here are my favorites of the day.

ANDREI + LIDIA : engaged

What a morning it was at the beach photographing Andrei and Lidia. With this couples busy schedule it was “now or never” for their engagement session.. sooooo, we went for it… we had to shoot in the rain! They were both so easy  and fun to work with. Neither of them complained once, Lidia even offered the arm of her jacket for my camera and lens to stay dry, it was quite a scene. Below are my favorites, I just love how sweet they are with one another.

RUSSELL + JULIANNA I engaged

Russell, Julianna, and I ventured out to downtown Riversides historic Mission Inn . That place is absolutley enchanting, although it requires a lot of legwork. We walked up down and around that place, I can imagine people getting lost in there. I had such a blast with these two, they were cuddly the entire time, it was adorable. I can’t wait for their wedding in January. Here are my favorites.

GLENN + JOYCIE I engagement session

Glenn & Joycie are the sweetest people i’ve ever met. It was a pleasure photographing my ex-coworker ;) When Joycie and I worked together we always talked about what we would do for her and Glenn’s engagement session. These two have such “uniqueness” (I hope that’s a word), it’s so refreshing. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in October, it’s gonna be fantastic! We headed down to Claremont for these shots, it was  such a blast with all the old brick and bright green walls! These are my favorites.

DREW + LISA I engagement session

Drew and Lisa were introduced to me by a dear friend and someone you’ve heard of before, Danica Dejong, the designer who fashioned the model Elise at our NYC shoot. “Thanks again Danica for the introduction, Drew and Lisa are fantastic to work with!’

A few weeks ago I got to photograph Drew and Lisa in downtown Fullerton. I had so much to work with, a beautiful classic car, a gorgeous sunset, and well of course, such a beautiful couple! There is no doubt that Lisa knows how to laugh, and there is even more proof that Drew is the one who knows how to make her laugh! Drew and Lisa are high-school-sweethearts with an obvious passion for one another. I can’t wait for their wedding in La Quinta, I can tell it’s going to be a blast! Here are my favorites from their session.

SAMUEL + ELISE I nyc fashion

Back in March I had the experience of a lifetime. My close friend and I got to visit NY for a week! This was my very first trip to the the city and I absolutely fell in love. While in town I was able to connect with some family from Brooklyn, spend time with one of the dearest people to my heart, and I got to photograph two amazing models in Central Park… what more could a girl ask for?

Samuel and Elise were fabulous! It was about 55 degrees that day and it was windy too. Samuel luckily was wearing boots and pants, poor Elise had to freeze, I don’t think she complained but once :)

This lil’ production was so much fun to put together, and the people I was able to work with were absolutely fabulous. I have to highlight our hairstylist, she was a gem! Julie Farragher, of Pandora’s Hair Witchery, in Australia happened to be visiting her daughter in NYC at the time. She did a fabulous job, not only with the hair, but she helped us immensely with a few last minute details! I also had the pleasure of working with a wonderful designer, Ms. Danica Dejong! When I met with her about designing a gown I had something pictured in my head and she drew it for me, then fixed it and made it better! She did a fabulous job and I couldn’t have been happier! Our male model Samuel was such a doll! He not only made our photoshoot fun and easy but he showed us around the city a bit, it was so wonderful meeting him, you can view more of his work by clicking here. Our female model Elise has such a classic look, she completed the package and was very pleasant to work with. I can’t wait to work with them again!

Jeremy & Jessica’s Engagement Session, Album, Website, & Bookmarks…that’s a mouthful!

1. Engagement Session

Hey there everyone! Unfortunately, I am starting this post with the, “I’ve been soooo busy lately… blah, blah, blah… but it’s the truth! As I said before, my life is crazy right now! I’m battling school, work, volleyball, etc…It’s been such a sad thing that my blog is not up to date, I have so many exciting shoots to blog but so little time!

This session was very exciting for me. You see… the thing is… Jeremy and Jessica are both performers, and in almost every single shot they were perfect! It was also such a blast being in my favorite city (L.A.) with the two of them, doing what I love… ahhhhhh(sigh of joy)!

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Rusty & Stacy are getting married!

Rusty and Stacy’s Wedding is going to be my very first in the 2009 year. I am so excited to be their photographer, Rustys father is actually my mothers cousin… so somewhere down the road we are related, second cousins I believe…

Rusty and Stacy are such an adorable couple, during their session, they were cracking up with one another the entire time! We spent about an hour walking around the docks in Long Beach, it was overcast and freezing. Stacy had to warm her nose up, more than once, so she wouldn’t sting Rusty before she leaned in for a kiss.

After their session we drove by the church where they will be married in January. It’s an adorable church, complete with stain glass windows… I’m so looking forward to photographing them and being there for such an incredible event for my family.

Here they are, enjoy…

Peter & Ashley are engaged!

Pete has been a good friend of mine for many years. Growing up with him in High School was a blast, he was know at the class clown!

Peter and Ashley are such a sweet couple, there were times during their session that Ashley couldn’t stop giggling…so cute! We started out in San Gabriel and then drove over to Pasadena, Pete was determined to get some shots on the famous Pasadena bridge.

Here are my favorites!

Glenn & Joycie – “She said yes!”

Love - A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.

When I got the phone call from Glenn my heart had begun to melt, I knew exactly why he was calling. He was planning the most adorable proposal for his amazing girlfriend Joycie and wanted me to capture it all.

Glenn & Joycie are such a beautiful couple, their love for one another is so obvious. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this beautiful day with them.
