Brian Foster & Amy Hillhouse Tie the Knot!

Well, well, well… Finals are over, Volleyball practice is on hold, and I’m on vacation! I’m just trying to enjoy it at long as I can because starting in July my life is gonna be crazy again, but I can’t wait for the hustle and bustle!

Below is a wedding I shot last month in Long Beach. It was a beautiful day and to simply put it, Brian and Amy’s wedding was a blast! They both have so much life in them and they are not afraid to express it which is sooooo wonderful to be around. Their 400 person guest list is a testament to their love for people, and for their family and friends love for them. When you watch Brian and Amy together, you can see their connection right on their faces. What a uniquely beautiful couple, I wish them the best of life and happiness for the years to come.

Samuel & Elise: NYC

Back in March I had the experience of a lifetime. My close friend and I got to visit NY for a week! This was my very first trip to the the city and I absolutely fell in love. While in town I was able to connect with some family from Brooklyn, spend time with one of the dearest people to my heart, and I got to photograph two amazing models in Central Park… what more could a girl ask for?

Samuel and Elise were fabulous! It was about 55 degrees that day and it was windy too. Samuel luckily was wearing boots and pants, poor Elise had to freeze, I don’t think she complained but once :)

This lil’ production was so much fun to put together, and the people I was able to work with were absolutely fabulous. I have to highlight our hairstylist, she was a gem! Julie Farragher, of Pandora’s Hair Witchery, in Australia happened to be visiting her daughter in NYC at the time. She did a fabulous job, not only with the hair, but she helped us immensely with a few last minute details! I also had the pleasure of working with a wonderful designer, Ms. Danica Dejong! When I met with her about designing a gown I had something pictured in my head and she drew it for me, then fixed it and made it better! She did a fabulous job and I couldn’t have been happier! Our male model Samuel was such a doll! He not only made our photoshoot fun and easy but he showed us around the city a bit, it was so wonderful meeting him, you can view more of his work by clicking here. Our female model Elise has such a classic look, she completed the package and was very pleasant to work with. I can’t wait to work with them again!

Jeremy & Jessica’s Engagement Session, Album, Website, & Bookmarks…that’s a mouthful!

1. Engagement Session

Hey there everyone! Unfortunately, I am starting this post with the, “I’ve been soooo busy lately… blah, blah, blah… but it’s the truth! As I said before, my life is crazy right now! I’m battling school, work, volleyball, etc…It’s been such a sad thing that my blog is not up to date, I have so many exciting shoots to blog but so little time!

This session was very exciting for me. You see… the thing is… Jeremy and Jessica are both performers, and in almost every single shot they were perfect! It was also such a blast being in my favorite city (L.A.) with the two of them, doing what I love… ahhhhhh(sigh of joy)!

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Taylor is Graduating!

Hey there everyone! Life has been absolutely crazy for me this year. I am still in pursuit of a Photography degree so taking classes full-time, playing on the volleyball team at Mt. SAC and working as a full time “photog” has been a challenge, but of course it’s all worth the hustle and bustle!

About two weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Ms. Taylor Ramirez… I know this may sound corny, but she is such a dear! When we discussed a location for her shoot she said, “I want a field of flowers”… well we found one! I’m sure she was very angry at me by the end of the shoot, I practically had her rolling in the dirt LOL. Taylor has such a wonderful personality, she is definitely going to be successful in her career as a hairstylist!

Taylor, I wish you the best in your last few months as a high school senior, enjoy it! Also, thank you so much for the fantastic shoot, you look absolutely gorgeous!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Murray

Hello again! The month of January was foggy and rainy but on January 31st the sun came out and was blazing for my cousin Rusty’s wedding. We managed well with the heat, especially since Stacy’s bridesmaids were extremely attentive, they kept fanning her to keep her cool!

Rusty and Stacy have quite the story. Stacy’s “high school crush” a.k.a “Rusty” became her husband… I know every girl who reads this will respond with an “awwwwww”!

There are so many great things I can say about my cousins Rusty and Stacy. Stacy is truly a women that is uniquely sweet! She is so peaceful and pleasant to be around. My cousin Rusty is a true gentlemen, without a doubt! They make a fantastic couple and they love each other dearly…

Rusty and Stacy, it was such a pleasure to be a part of your wedding day! Here are my favorites…I love you guys!!!!

Carlos & Gloria Castilla

Hello everyone… This past month has been absolutely crazy for me. I just spend the past few days in Las Vegas at WPPI, so I’ve been a bit behind on my blogging. In January I got a call a week before Carlos and Gloria’s wedding renewal… fortunately I was free to photograph their day. Carlos and Gloria renewed their vows along with their family members and their three adorable children. Here are my favorites from the day.

Mr. Blake VanBleek

Blake is such a sweetheart! He is crazy goofy and makes me laugh non-stop at times. We headed downtown for these shots and we had a blast the entire time. Blake aspires to be an actor and with his personality I believe he will be winning Golden Globes before we know it.

Best of luck to you Blake… here are my favorites!

Montana is Graduating!

It has been such a blessing for me to see Montana grow into such a fine young man. Montana will be graduating from Western Christian this year at the age of 17. Montana is an instrumental genius! He is definitely walking in the footsteps of his father by becoming the next “one man band”… Montana plays the guitar, piano, drums…and more.

I had such a great time during his portrait session. I got to photograph Montana while he played his guitar, I found myself photographing the same shot over and over because I didn’t want him to stop playing, it was so beautiful! Montana, good luck on your journey through college.. it is going to be a life changing experience!

The Radoi Sisters

The Radoi sisters… What can I say about these young women. They are simply amazing.

I was privileged to grow up with the Radoi sisters, we met in middle school and got to see each other every day for 4 to 5 years. Time went on and we went separate ways, but after years of not being in contact the four of us reunited in Walnut for a photo shoot.

When we arrived to our location all three of the girls were giddy, excited and nervous. Diana, the eldest who has a background in photography never realized how awkward it could feel to be in front of the camera… She overcame the awkwardness very quickly and did a fantastic job. Nicky the youngest couldn’t contain herself… She was cracking up every two seconds which got the other two going. Lidia, the middle sister has had some modeling experience in her past, she just blended right into the scene.

I never had so much fun on a shoot before in my entire career. These sisters were so full of life and love for one another I was comforted just by being around them. When I returned home from the session I had three emails in my inbox, one from each of the girls. As I read each one, tears filled my eyes, a sense of peace filled my heart… I remembered why I love what I do, I get to work with amazing, loving, and caring people every day.

Here are my favorites…
