California Dates

April 15th will mark two months of my husband and I living in Mexico. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be here and are loving every minute of this new adventure. Although we love our new home I am happy to announce the first two set of dates I will be returning to California. If you are interested in booking a session while I am in town please email me for details.

Happy Five Year Anniversary to Ruben + Caryn Oyerbides

Five years ago I had the pleasure of photographing Ruben and Caryn on their wedding day. Words cannot describe how blessed I feel to be connected with them and their family. Through the past few years I have been able to work with them over and over again,  photographing them while Caryn was pregnant,  after she gave birth, and most recently their newest additions first birthday, which will be posted soon.  So stay tuned to check out their adorable little girl!

Ruben and Caryn, you are a blessing to each other and to those around you, cheers to you both!

Our Big News…We Are Moving to Zacatecas, Mexico!

Six months after I married my husband Ismael I visited his families hometown in Mexico for the very first time. There are no words to describe my very first experience there, other than that, I fell in love with Zacatecas. I fell in love with the streets, the people, the language, the food, the music, but most of all, I fell in love with the lifestyle. To live for a time in Mexico has been a dream of mine since returning home from that very first visit. After sharing this desire with my husband, and realizing that it was mutual, we began brainstorming on how we could make this dream a reality. For an entire year, we have researched and planned…did a little more research…and then planned some more…and now we are finally ready to hit the road! We are so excited for this new adventure in our lives and we are looking forward to this experience whether it last six months, a year, or maybe even two! We know that whenever we return to our home in California we will have surely gained from our experience. We are so thankful to our family who have helped us see this process through this past year, we are forever grateful! Not only am I so thankful for our family who have supported us, but I am in awe of how encouraging and supportive my clients have been during this process, all I can say is, you guys are awesome! So, with that being said, it is time for me to say adios, hasta luego California…bienvenidos Mexico!

Eric + Amanda

Good afternoon folks…and here they are…the cutest couple in town…Eric and Amanda! These two are so adorable with one another, they’re a bit giddy, a bit playful, ahhh…what more could we expect from two lovebirds? I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda and her family for quite some time now, I think we might be sneaking up on a decade! Each time I work with them it feels like I am with family and each session with them gets better and better. I cannot wait to photograph these two this summer on their wedding day, it will be here before we know it,  La Jolla here we come!

Kilynne Kennedy

I absolutely love working with the Kennedy family, it has been so fun watching their kids grow! Their youngest, Kilynne, is great in front of the camera and it was time to update her head shots. This four year old beauty kept me entertained with her funny faces and silliness…she is truly an entertainer!

Celebrating Four Years of Marriage 12.27.09

Four years ago, to the day, I married by best friend! At the age of twenty-one I gave my heart to a man that continues to re-capture it over and over. Through the highs and lows of the past four years we have managed to become closer than ever before. I am so thankful for my husband and for our future together. We have big plans on the horizon, stay tuned to hear our big news!

The Wilkinson Family

Today I am so excited to share with you all my amazing family! My big sister Niki and her husband Tom are quite the couple. For many years now these two have been such an inspiration and example of love and family. Niki makes being a mother of three look as easy as pie, she truly is Wonder Woman, and Tom is such a great father, I couldn’t have asked for a better man for my sister to build a family with. These three kiddos bring so much joy and happiness to our family, it brings tears to my eyes thinking of how fast they have grown, I am enjoying being an auntie who gets to watch these beautiful children grow!

The Taylor Family

It is always rewarding when I get to photograph a family year after year, it is most definitely one of the greatest perks of being a family photographer. Meeting Jen when she was pregnant with Scarlett and getting to document their family when Scarlett was a newborn, six-month-old, and now one-year-old, has been nothing but a blessing! I truly look up to Mikey and Jen as parents and as business owners. Jen is not only a creative business woman with incredible taste and style, but she is also such a wonderful mother and you can see the work that she and Mikey have put into raising Scarlett. This couple is constantly feeding people with good vibes and Scarlett’s nature is a true testament to how lovely they are. I absolutely adore the Taylor’s and am so honored to call them friends.

P.S. Please check out Saint Archer Brewery in San Diego, CA in support of their most recent venture.

The Lipscomb Family

Today I am thrilled to share with you the Lipscomb family. This family is truly a T-R-E-A-S-U-R-E! Brian and Sharron have done a tremendous job with raising their children, not only are these three kiddos polite and respectful, but they are so cool to be around. The two boys, Lucas and Logan, are like little men and they are so sweet with their little sister Lane, who is beyond adorable! I had so much fun getting to know the Lipscomb’s, every single one of them!

The Sakioka Family

Trent, Chelsea, and their little one Addison were such a delight to work with. I absolutely love shooting in Downtown Los Angeles and the Public Library hosts such a beautiful setting for photographs. Addison is such a cutie pie, she was constantly wanting to run around, just like any other two year old. Trent and Chelsea knew how to get her laughing and it was so fun seeing the three of them play together. My goodness aren’t they such a gorgeous family!!!
