A few years ago I got to photograph a darling girl named Chloe for her graduation portraits. Today I am posting her younger sisters graduation portraits, it’s amazing how time flies!!! These gorgeous sisters have many things in common but the two things that standout the most is their beauty and sense of humor! These girls will have you rolling with laughter! What an honor it is to be able to capture this family year after year. Here are my favorites!
I am so thrilled to share this mornings post! The Taylor’s are some of the most wonderful people I have come to know through photography. My darling colleague Erika, of Small Shop, linked Jen Taylor and I up about a year ago and we have been friends ever since…many thanks Erika! Jen is an extremely talented interior designer (stay tuned for some of her most recent work & freshly designed website by Erika of Small Shop) and she is also a first-time Mommy, but she really is a pro at it! Mikey, is living his dream as a pro skater, and he also is a pro as a new dad! What can I say about these two? Mikey and Jen are just adorable…and then…their little one…Scarlett…OH-MY-GOSH…she makes me weak in the knees!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending a day at my favorite salon “Thairapy” in Old Town Pasadena. From the moment you walk through the door you are embraced with not only a warm welcome but a charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. Thairapy is home exclusively to six fabulous stylists and colorists. Owners, Karmen and Dusty, made special attention to their crew being a group that treats one other like family and that is exactly what they are…family! Each of them, having their own specialty, makes for a unique group of talented artists and if I may say so, “therapists”.

Today I am excited to introduce Baby “R”, and her name is officially, Raegan! She was such a doll to work with and “oh heavens” those perfect little baby noises, they get me every time. Proud parents, Ruben and Caryn were at ease with their newest addition, they truly looked like pros! Big sis Ray is also getting some major experience with her new baby sister. What a blessing she is to their family and to this world! Congratulations Oyerbides family…

This family truly has a special place in my heart! I have had the pleasure of working with them since Ruben and Caryn got engaged, then I got to photograph their wedding, and now the coming of their newest addition, Baby R! At the time of their maternity session they hadn’t decided on a name yet, the choices were between Ryan and Reagan, looks like we will just have to wait and see what they decide on! Stay tuned for Baby R’s newborn session…she’s a doll!

Check out my very first “gorilla style film” with artist Avalon Omega. Avalon and I shot in a couple of days around downtown LA, we got kicked out of the Standard Hotel and got plenty of stares from all ages. After I photographed these two the first time I decided we needed to plan for another shoot, just to capture their fun and silliness…and we did just that! Strolling around Echo Park with this lovely couple was as easy as cake. It’s so much fun working with people who are so In Love!!! Hellooooo Sarah Jo!!! This girl is gorgeous beyond words… Sarah and I happened to connect through Craigslist, of all places, for another colleagues shoot. We met and it was “like” at first sight! We had such a fun time working together that we knew we had to shoot together again. Sarah is a talented and wonderful artist with such a vibrant and contagious smile! You are gorgeous dawling!!!!

Brian and Elizabeth are one of those couples that you can look at and say, “they make Love look easy and perfect”… They are so sweet and tender towards one another and they have the same sense of humor, not only is Elizabeth a sweetheart, but Brian is a true Gentleman. I am so proud to call this couple my friends and I am so thankful for their friendship and the love they have for one another…they are an example of how to love and how one should be loved.
